DBS check is a hard gate
A coach can only list as "works with juniors" once their DBS is verified + in-date. Enforced at the database level — not just a checkbox.
Junior accounts return 404
Under-18 player rows are physically absent from every public surface, API, ranking, and commercial feed. Country-aware adult-age threshold; strictest if blank.
No adult↔minor messaging
Coordination between adults and juniors only happens through a guardian or club channel. No free-form DMs — DB triggers reject them.
Special-category data sealed
Identity, condition, and preference tags live in a protected store. Never sold, never aggregated, never exposed by API regardless of consent.

What you should know.
- ·Junior account setup: we collect DOB at signup so the right adult-age threshold applies. Under-18 accounts default to junior settings — no public profile, no commercial feed eligibility, no marketing comms.
- ·Guardian-mediated coordination: any communication between a junior and an adult on the platform routes through a guardian or club channel. No DMs, no free-form messaging.
- ·Identifying a junior-safe coach: look for the green “DBS verified” chip on the coach's profile. It expires when the DBS document does — coaches re-submit to keep the badge.
- ·Concerns or reports: email [email protected] — read by humans, never shown to the reported account. Retaliation is a permanent ban.
